What’s On My Reading Pile? ~ Booking It With Hayley G

Thank you for stopping by to check out this week’s “What’s On My Reading Pile?” guest post.

Each week (hopefully) I’ll be welcoming a new – or returning – blogger (or author) to the blog to share the three books they have at the top of their reading piles.

And if you’d like to stop by to share your reading pile just let me know. I’d love to have you!

This week I’m so excited to welcome to the blog….

Hayley of Booking It With Hayley G

I had the pleasure of “meeting” Hayley G and her lovely blog this past summer during the Authors Are Rockstars Tour, though I know I’d seen Hayley around the blogosphere before then.

Her blog is very awesome and she gets a LOT of super cool books. *Jealous.* But she’s also incredibly nice and professional and I LOVED having her as part of the Authors Are Rockstars Tour hosting the amazing Ann Redisch Stampler.

If you haven’t yet met Hayley or checked out her blog – whose name is super clever and a total standout – you can find her…

Hayley’s Reading Pile

Let Me Introduce Myself…

Hi I’m Hayley G from Booking It With Hayley G and I’m so excited to be participating in My Reading Pile this week, I absolutely love this meme! When I’m not helping customers find their next great read at work, I can be found gushing about my new favourite author/book and book boyfriend (currently Kai from Sweet Evil :)) on Twitter.

What three books do you have at the top of your reading pile right now?

Right now I’m I’m dividing my time with three awesome titles; Unravel Me by Tahereh Mafi, Everbound by Brodi Ashton and Pivot Point by Kasie West.

Unravel Me (Shatter Me #2) by Tahereh Mafi
(Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Goodreads)

Everbound (Everneath #2) by Brodi Ashton
(Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Goodreads)

Pivot Point by Kasie West
(Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Goodreads)

Why are they top of the pile reads?

Unravel Me and Everbound are both sequels to two of my favourite series. Juliette and Nikki are great heroines, and I’m so envious of the two sexy love interests both have- absolutely LOVE love triangles. Pivot Point‘s concept is so interesting and again we have ANOTHER love triangle, I really can’t say no to that.

What other books that you own (if any) are ones you’d like to have on top of the pile right now?

I have so many great titles that I’m dying to get to, and I will, I swear:

Out of the Easy by Ruta Sepetys
Etiquette & Espionage by Gail Carriger
Sever by Lauren Destefano
The Goddess Inheritance by Aimee Carter
Unremembered by Jessica Brody
Ink by Amanda Sun
Hooked by Liz Ficherea
The Madman’s Daughter by Megan Shepherd
Through the Ever Night by Veronica Rossi
Asunder by Jodi Meadows

Just how many books are on your reading pile?

It has to be in the hundreds, I’m awful for buying piles of books bi-weekly and I keep promising myself that one day (or month) I will take the time to give them all the time and attention they so rightly deserve.

What books – either released or not yet released – would you love to have on your reading pile?

THE ELITE by Kiera Cass!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I’m dying to read this title and am so envious of anyone who has already haha. And I’d basically give up my first born for a chance to read the following titles right now, sorry firstborn!
Unbreakable by Elizabeth Norris
Sweet Peril by Wendy Higgins

I don’t know how you can have both UNRAVEL ME and EVERBOUND on your pile at the same time. UNRAVEL ME killed me. And EVERBOUND is currently killing me! Of course I’m so curious which love interests you like… Adam and Jack or Warner and Cole?

And I hadn’t heard of PIVOT POINT until I saw it on your pile. Now I’m mad crazy to get a copy. I heard they’re doing eARCs so I’m all over that! And oh my gosh you and me both – UNBREAKABLE and SWEET PERIL! Yes. Dying.

You have some seriously amazing books to read! I hope you get to tackle a few of them before the newest releases head your way!

Thank you so much for sharing your reading pile, Hayley! You have some seriously wicked awesome books to read and I can’t WAIT to hear what your thoughts are!

And you are always welcome to stop back and share your pile, though it will be on my blog The Annex as I’m moving this feature over there very soon. 🙂
